Who Is Fluid Lacrosse?

Fluid Lacrosse is a Wisconsin based club lacrosse program built to support athletes at every stage of their development — from youth players learning the game to high school athletes preparing for what comes next.

Our structure is intentional. We offer multiple team pathways within one unified program so players can compete at the right level, receive consistent coaching, and grow with clarity over time.

Why Fluid?

Fluid was built to address what families told us mattered most:
clear communication, consistent support, thoughtful team placement, and an athlete first approach.

Our leadership and coaching staff have worked with thousands of athletes across Wisconsin. Everything we do is designed to create better development environments and a more transparent experience for families.

What Makes Fluid Different?

Player First Structure
We organize our program around three primary team pathways:

  • State AA Teams
High commitment, high competition environments for players ready to compete at the top level.
  • State A Teams
Strong developmental settings for high potential athletes who benefit from continued growth within the State Team structure.
  • Regional Teams (Madison & Milwaukee)
Local, flexible options focused on skill acquisition, confidence, and balanced competition.

Each pathway is intentional. Placement is based on readiness, development needs, and long term growth — not just age or labels.

How Does Recruiting Support Work?

Recruiting support looks different depending on age and stage.

High school teams receive guidance tailored to where players are in the process. This can include help with film, event selection, communication strategy, and understanding next steps. Certain age groups also receive access to recruiting platforms when appropriate.

Our goal is not to gatekeep recruiting, but to help families navigate it with clarity and realistic expectations.

How Is Feedback and Development Handled?

We believe development improves when feedback is clear and purposeful.

Teams utilize game film, evaluations, and coach feedback to help players understand where they are and how to improve. We also value family communication and are committed to listening, adjusting, and continually improving the player experience.

Is Fluid Just a Name?

No. Fluid reflects how we operate.

We are committed to:
• Clear and consistent communication
• Thoughtful leadership and planning
• Celebrating growth, not just outcomes
• Supporting athletes as people, not just players

Our structure, staffing, and systems are all built to support those values long term.

Are There Scholarship or Financial Support Options?

Yes.

We understand that club lacrosse is a significant investment, and we never want finances to be the reason a player cannot participate. Fluid is not a bottom line driven program, and we are willing to work with families when financial challenges arise.

If you need support, we encourage you to reach out and have a conversation with us.

How Do Tryouts and Evaluations Work?

Fluid uses a structured evaluation process that includes primary tryouts, alternate evaluation opportunities, and limited supplemental tryouts as rosters take shape.

Because timing and availability vary by age group and season, we recommend visiting the Tryouts & Evaluations page for the most up to date information.
